Fleta Fay Lowe, 92, of Vincennes, IN went to her heavenly home on Friday July 8, 2022 at Colonial Assisted Living. Fleta was born July 20, 1929 in Vincennes, IN, the daughter of Thomas H. and Flora Belle Fox. She was a Lincoln High School graduate, class of 1948. Fleta married Jackson "Jack" Louis Lowe In 1948 and they made their life together for nearly 75 years. Fleta was gifted with an innate love of children, raising their five, as well as caring for many others. Fleta formerly worked at Grant’s, and Lic’s Ice Cream. She was a devoted Christian and was very active in her church, practicing her faith daily with everyone she met. She was a member of the First Church of God, serving in various functions and events. Fleta was a devoted wife, amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Fleta is survived by her husband, Jack Louis Lowe, their children, Michael Lewis Lowe, and his wife Rose Marie of Vincennes, Deborah Ann Catt of Vincennes, Kathleen Jo Rasico, and her husband Pastor Scott Rasico of Vincennes, Barbara Jean Cary, and her husband Michael "Mitch" Cary of Vincennes and Lora Mae Roman, and her husband Pastor Joe Roman. Her grandchildren, Lisa M. Hughes and husband Barry Hughes, Stephanie E. Grimes and husband Trent Grimes, Justin M. Lowe and wife Kelly Lowe, Thomas J. Catt and wife Jennifer Catt, Jeremy Rasico and wife Ashley Rasico, Ginger Weisbrod and husband Adam Weisbrod, Drew Cary and wife Jalayna Cary, Dustin Cary and wife Michele Cary, Jenni Roman, Jacob Roman and wife Kae and Kaitlyn Roman. Great grandchildren, Garrett Mercer, Conner Mercer, Abby Mercer, Thomas Hughes, Courtney Hughes, Kaleigh Goodwin and husband Brandon Goodwin, Amya Woodall, Roman Lowe, Merideth Catt, Dani Catt, Sierra Rasico, Elizabeth Rasico, Sergei Crow, Josiah Crow, Stephen Crow, Logan Weisbrod, Lahni Weisbrod, Liberty Weisbrod, Autumn Cary, Mason Cary, Broderick Cary, Kylan Cary and Graham Cary. Great-great grandchild, Quentin Goodwin. Fleta was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Thelma VanWey, Betty Chapman, a 1/2 brother, Harvey Thomas Fox, a 1/2 sister Zelma Deckard, and granddaughter Rachel Renee (Rasico) Crow a grandson, Joshus Caleb Roman and a great granddaughter, Candice Faith Cary.. Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday July 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of God (1408 E. St. Clair St.) with Pastor Joe Roman officiating and Pastor Scott Rasico giving the eulogy. Fleta will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the First Church of God. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the First Church of God. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist the Lowe family during their time of loss.
