It is with broken hearts that the family of the late REUBEN SIMMS of Marystown announces his passing. Reuben passed away at his home in Marystown on Friday, July 8th, 2022 at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Beatrice of 64 years; his daughter, Cora Simms of Marystown; 3 grandchildren, Renee Walsh (Trevor), Justin Scott (Brenda) and Michael Fewer (Lisa); great-grandchildren, Carter & Sarah Walsh; sisters, Martha Roberts (Wilfred) of Hermitage, and Myrtle Cox of Hermitage; sister-in-law, Mary Simms of Hermitage; plus a large circle of family and friends.

Reuben was predeceased by his parents, Zacharias & Lilly Simms; brother, Ralph Simms; nieces, Jeanette Herritt and Doreen Baker; parents-in-law, John & Mary Cribb; and brothers-in-law, Clayton Cribb and Reg Cox.

The Simms Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on Saturday, July 9th, from 7pm – 9pm and Sunday, July 10th from 10am – 12pm, 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 11th, 2022 at 2:00 pm from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Marystown. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Creston South.

No flowers by request of the Simms Family.
