Scott Wesley Miller Obituary

Scott Wesley Miller was born on June 4th 1995 in Renton, WA and passed away in Idyllwild, CA on July 4th 2022. Scott was a resident of Ogden Utah, but recently moved to Redlands, California. He was a Nuclear Engineer at The Boeing Company, and he was so excited to start his new job at Millennium Space Systems. Scott had two passions: one of which was exploring outside whether it was hiking, biking, cycling, climbing, skiing, running, or hanging by a campfire, and the other was spending time with those he loved. He recently joined the love of his life and soon to be fiancé, Nicolette in California for her to start her residency training to become an OBGYN. Scott was loved by so many and knew how to make anyone smile and willing to help anybody at any time. Scott passed away doing what he loved, exploring and climbing at a new place. He is survived by his Father and Mother: Vince and Johnlyn Miller, his Brother Alex Miller, his Grandmother Colleen Miller, his Godmother Kirsten Gates, and his soon to be fiancé Nicolette Jessen. There are so many other people whose names are not on here that were friends with Scott and shaped who he was as a person. We would love for you send in your favorite pictures, videos, and stories of Scott to celebrate his life at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1OHbdV4zGXf4K0NT0cbzGywAWZfPLBhFq. More details will be coming regarding celebration of life services. Most likely one will occur in Utah and the other in Washington, details will be provided later. Scott would want money donated to something that supports people exploring the outdoors. We have chosen 4 organizations that people can donate to in memory of Scott if they choose. • American Alpine Club: https://membership.americanalpineclub.org/donate • The American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education: https://avtraining.org/donate/ • National Ability Center: https://donorbox.org/givepossibility • Riverside Mountain Rescue Unit: http://rmru.org/donate/
