<p>Geraldine Carmichael Reynolds of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at her granddaughter&rsquo;s home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.&nbsp;</p> <p>Geraldine was born in Morrisville, VA but grew up in Stafford. She was the oldest of nine children. She was May Queen in the 5th grade, a member of the band, and graduated from Stafford High School in 1956.</p> <p>Geraldine married James Reynolds on October 6, 1956. They had five children and loved spending time in the mountains of Meadows of Dan and in Fredericksburg.</p> <p>She is survived by her children, James Jr. (Karen), Judy, Robert (Jennifer), Charlie (Teresa), and Malinda (Rick); twelve&nbsp;grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren; and brothers Dickie, Joe, Tony, and William.&nbsp;</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Haskell and Hilda Carmichael; brothers Bobby, Wayne, and Tommy; only sister Sharon Deane; and husband of 58 years, James Reynolds.</p> <p>A service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.&nbsp;Interment will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13 in the Light Family&nbsp;Cemetery in Meadows of Dan, Virginia.&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the <a href="https://act.alz.org/site/Donation2?df_id=32112&amp;32112.donation=form1&amp;utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=paidsearch&amp;utm_campaign=google_giving&amp;s_subsrc=giving&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwiJqWBhBdEiwAtESPaK0a13XnSuDrW1Zn1M8eg2pLR6He3A5kqKhUeCihPl6ho5_9VbNcvhoC2gIQAvD_BwE">Alzheimer&rsquo;s Associates</a> in Geraldine&rsquo;s memory.&nbsp;</p>

Geraldine Carmichael Reynolds of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at her granddaughter’s home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
