Richard Norman Gupton, 76, of Louisburg passed away on July 5, 2022 at Wake Medical Center. He was born on September 26, 1945 to the late Norman and Virginia Radford Gupton. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Melvin Gupton and his sister, Judy Gupton.

Richard is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra West Gupton; his son Jonathan Gupton; grandsons, Jonesy and Timmy; his sister-in-law, Diane Gupton; and nieces, Mandi Gupton-Mittelsteadt and Nikki Gupton

Richard was sociable and loved to joke; he enjoyed working outside. Richard love God, his church at Sandy Creek where he was a Deacon, his family and especially his grandkids.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, with Reverend Doug Moore officiating
