Mary J. Truell Obituary

The world lost a beloved mother, Mary J Truell (Ryan) on July 2, 2022.

She grew up in Covington, KY and spent some time in Providence, RI before falling in love with the beautiful Lakes Region of NH and purchasing her first home in Weirs Beach.

Her life-long career was as a Registered Nurse, and she also held her NH real estate license. Throughout her life, Mary enjoyed being an artist. Her favorite mediums were oil and watercolor. She was fond of animals, especially cats, she loved being near the lake, she enjoyed gardening and reading mystery novels. Being a mother made her heart sing - her love was always unconditional and her encouragement unwavering. Her greatest joy was holding her grandchildren and spoiling her cat.

Mary resided with her daughter, Mary D. MacIntosh, son-in-law Paul MacIntosh, and her grandchildren Finnian and Saoirse. Beyond her daughter’s family, Mary is survived by 4 of her 5 siblings: Barbara Utter, Bob Ryan, John Ryan and Sue White, many nieces and nephews, her stepdaughter Tammy Chapman, and many dear friends. Mary was 79. She will be greatly missed, but is now reunited with her husband, Douglas Truell, in the afterlife.

Visitation will be held at Mayhew Funeral Home in Meredith on Monday July 11 from 4-6pm. A mass will be held on Tuesday July 12th at 10am at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Meredith, NH
