Roger Lee Virden

Roger Lee Virden, of Weirton, WV died on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Weirton Medical Center. He was born in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Roger R. Virden. In addition to his father, Roger is also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Joanne Mencanin. Roger graduated from Weir High School Class of 1977. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. He was a former employee for Weirton Steel Corporation and drove for Weir Cove Cab. Roger is survived by his mother, Lea (Wass) Shirer and Bob; and two sisters, Lesa Cupini and Lori (Dale) Gerst all of Weirton, WV. A private graveside service is being held at the convenience of the family at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037. Condolences may be sent to www.mullenbachfh.com
