James T. Prejsnar

James T. Prejsnar, 86, of Wilton, NH, died July 4, 2022, at Monadnock Community Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born October 12, 1935, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to Stanley and Francis Prejsnar. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Navy. He served during the Korean War from 1954 to 1959. After graduating from Capitol Radio Engineering Institute, Mr. Prejsnar was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration. James and his family moved to Nashua in 1969 from Saratoga, New York. James has been a Wilton resident since 1978. He became a member of the Wilton Lions Club in 1979 and served in many offices of the club. The Wilton Lions Club honored Hames with the, “Melvin Jones Fellow Award”, in 2008. This honor is for the dedicated humanitarian services James gave to the communities of Wilton and Lyndeborough. After retiring, James worked as a contractor installing electronic equipment located in Air Traffic Facilities throughout the New England Region. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. They traveled throughout the world enjoying the various cultures and food. James was predeceased by his wife who died in 2010. Family members include two sons, James Prejsnar II and his wife Jacqueline of Attleboro, MA, and Joseph T Prejsnar and his wife Samantha of Nashua; one daughter Jennifer Prejsnar of Saint Charles, IL; one brother Stanley Prejsnar and his wife Patricia of New Castle, PA; and six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. James was blessed with 6 grandchildren. Payton, Kacye, Savannah, Quinn, Justin, Tristan, and great granddaughter Evelyn. There will be no calling hours.
