<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Mrs. Theresa Kay Alexander Ammons, age 57 of 25992 SC Hwy 121, Whitmire, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at her home.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mrs. Ammons was born in Union Co., January 11, 1965, a daughter of the late Joe Alexander, Jr. and Mary Frances Glenn Tipton. She was graduate of Whitmire High School and was employed with the Newberry County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office as a Detention Officer. Mrs. Ammons was a member of God&rsquo;s Healing Springs Baptist Church.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Surviving are two daughters, Rosemary Floyd and husband Daniel of Prosperity and Jessica Baker of Georgia; two sons, Daniel Fulmer of Newberry and Johnathan Ammons, Jr. of the home; a step-sister, Tonya Greene of TN; three step-brothers, Robbie Tipton of TN, Rusty Tipton of NC, and Bryan Wallen of Fort Mill; and six grandchildren, Ana, Mattie, Cora, Samuel, Kelsey and Joseph. She is also survived by her former husband and life-long friend, Johnathan Ammons, Sr. She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald Alexander and Michael Wallen.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 8, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Whitmire conducted by Rev. Kenny Weaver. Burial with Police Honors will be at Lee Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday evening also at the First Baptist Church.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Active pallbearers will be Michael Claytor, Danny Claytor, Jordan Sinclair, Jeremiah Sinclair, Kyle Owens and Samantha Navarrete.             Mrs. Theresa Kay Alexander Ammons, age 57 of 25992 SC Hwy 121, Whitmire, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at her home.

            Mrs. Ammons was born in Union Co., January 11, 1965, a daughter of the late Joe Alexander, Jr. and Mary Frances Glenn Tipton.
