<p><span style="font-size:22px;"><strong>Herbert William Wright, Sr., 93, passed away on July 3, 2022. Herbert was a member of Local Union #79 Ironworkers and Masonic Lodge #49 and Scottish Rite. He enjoyed umpiring baseball and softball, gardening, and loved his children fiercely.&nbsp;<br /> Herbert is reunited in Heaven with his wife, Betty Sue Forrest Wright; parents, Daniel Duncan Wright and Amanda Lenel Wright; brothers, James Pate Wright, Daniel Vance Wright, Vernon Harrell Wright, and&nbsp; Melvin Eugene Wright.<br /> Left to cherish his memory are his children, Wanda Nixon and husband Tommy, Herbert Wright, Jr. and wife Andr&eacute;, Cathy (Sissy) Everett and husband Glenn, Jimmy Wright and wife Laura; grandchildren, Tiffany Davenport and husband Marc, Amanda Wright, Drew Wright and wife Rachel, Glenn Everett, III, Parker Wright; three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Tommy Pat Forrest and wife Janice, and a host of nieces and nephews.<br /> A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton.
