James Everett Morgan, age 77, a native of Greeley. KY and a resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on July 3, 1945 to the late Everett Morgan and the late Minnie (Mays) Morgan. He is survived by his two nieces, Sharon Walls and her husband Mike of Lexington, Indiana and Vickie Newman of Richmond, Indiana. One nephew, Richard Newman and his wife Valarie of Austin, Indiana. Also his amazing caregivers that have been with him for over 23 years, Barb Reynolds and Betty Hannon. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Newman. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
