Mrs. Sandra Copeland age 79, of Blountsville passed away Sunday, July 3rd, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Survivors include husband Ottis Copeland, son William Copeland, daughters Darlene Holder, Kay Thomas, Melinda McWhorter, sister Janice Hathcock, brothers Tony Hyatt, Larry Hyatt, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-- grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents W.L. and Buna Hyatt, sisters Dean Kent and Connie Jones.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Friday, July 8th, 2022 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 8th, 2022 at 1:00 pm in The Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Hood Cemetery in Blountsville, Alabama.

Mrs. Copeland was a member of the Westside Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to the mountains. She loved spending time with her family and most of all watching fireworks with her grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Blake Gove, Chris Garrard, Jimmy Thomas, Jeremy Hathcock, Chris Mooney, T.J. Yancy, and honorary pallbearer Lynn Thomas.
