A Funeral Mass for Thomas Jack Nutter, age, 29, of Hebron, will be held Saturday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 394 E. Main Street, Newark with Fr. Mark Ghiloni, as celebrant.

Thomas died Friday, July 1, 2022 after injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash. He was born on February 17, 1993 in Newark to Ted and Theresa (Dewalt) Nutter.  

Thomas graduated from Newark Catholic High School with the class of 2011. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on his sports cars and was an avid gamer. He also liked to practice target shooting with his friend, Kris. Thomas had a witty personality and was always helpful to assist his parents in technology struggles.

He is survived by his parents, Ted and Theresa (Dewalt) Nutter; a brother, Chadwick Elmer Nutter; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and three best friends, Kris Ruble, Ben Piper and Hailey Grace.

Thomas was preceded in death by, his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Marcella Dewalt; paternal grandparents, Jack and Nell Nutter; and one uncle, Paul Nutter.

Family and friends may attend visitation on  Friday, July 15, from 4-7 p.m. at The Newark Chapel of Henderson of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service., 59 N. Fifth Street, Newark.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of the funeral home for the family.
