<p>Mary Florence White</p> <p>North Sydney</p> <p>May 19, 1946 – July 2, 2022</p> <p> With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Mary White, peacefully at home on Saturday, July 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.</p> <p> She leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Melvin, her sons Paul (Cheryl) and Phil (Cindy). Her many grandchildren and a handful of great-grandchildren; Amy, Adam, Meghan, Brittany, Tyler, Damian, Denver, Darius, Donte and Mia, and Tyson, Ashton, Kaiden, Miley, Lexan.</p> <p>Mary also leaves behind her brothers Gary (Sandy), Melvin, Jack (Jean)and Kevin (Cindy). Her sisters-in-law Diane, Debbie, Thelma, Marcella, Peggy and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Mary was predeceased by her parents Albert and Lillian Johnston, her son Ronald (Nush), her daughter Cindy, and granddaughter Angela Dawn, her brothers Albert and Alex and her sisters Linda, Selby and Phylis who we are sure were waiting for her arrival. She was also predeceased by her sister-in-law Hazel and brothers-in-law Charlie and Donnie.</p> <p>Mary loved spending time with her loving husband, family and friends. She loved watching murder mysteries, going for walks, Sunday drives, sitting outside in the sun, having tea and talking with her friends Kim Pye, Sharron Target and family.</p> <p> Mary loved her grandchildren, she loved spending time with them, Mary truly loved her family and would do anything for them. Mary was funny, loving, caring, sassy and sarcastic all wrapped up in 5 feet and she will be missed beyond words.</p> <p>A special thank you to Dr. Kholsmith and Dr. Burns and the palliative care team.</p> <p>A special thank you to Mary’s granddaughter Amy White (Jason) and niece Lily Carey, for their help, love, caring and kindness especially during the last couple of months. Your kindness will never be forgotten.</p> <p>Visitation for Mary White will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 7-9 pm in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines.
