Mrs. Brenda Kay Brown, age 78, of Traphill, passed away on Monday July 4, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Brown was born on October 15, 1943 in McDowell, WV to the late George Thomasan Sr. and Harriett Taylor Thomasan In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Gary Brown and two sisters bKeitha Lester and Francess Burgess. Those left to cherish her memory are one son William (Jenny) Brown of Traphill; two daughters Kandace Brown of North Wilkesboro and Andrea (Douglas) Anderson of Traphill; one brother Geroge Thomasan of Isaban, WV; two sisters Amy (Travis) Hunt of Traphill and Virgie Boyd of Isaban, WV; nine grandchildren Annie (Steven), Noah, Andrew (Chassidy), Jacob, Ethan, Kaylee, Savannah, Nathaniel (Jennynn), and Elisabeth; and six great-grandchildren Sophia, Hunter, Gary, Braxton, Lillian, and Rhett. The family would like to give special thanks to Mountain Valley Hospice for their loving care during this transitional period. Service will be held at a later date.
