Judith Carol Barton Justice, age 76 of Clarkton, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn, With Reverend Arthur Smith officiating.  Interment to follow in the Weyman Chapel Cemetery in Riegelwood. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. 

Judith was born on January 28, 1946, to the late Richard Barton and Mildred Bigford Barber.  She was the widow of Earl Justice who preceded her in 2018, following 53 years of marriage; Judith was also preceded in death by her brother, Alan Gene Barber; and her son-in-law, Frank James Jones who preceded her in 2007.

Mrs.  Justice was employed by the Parris Island Public Library as assistant librarian for over 20 years, before retiring..

Ms. Justice is survived by her children; Dwayne Justice and his wife, Donna of Ridgeland, SC, Kristi J. Jones of Clarkton and Kerri L. Justice of Charleston, SC; three half-siblings, Glenda Potter and her husband, Billy of Riegelwood, Barry Barber and his wife, Jean of Council, Dewey Wayne Barber and his wife, Martha of Townsend, Ga and Billy Barber of Jessup, GA; four grandchildren, Brittney Jones, Kristin Jones, Madison McIntyre, and Bethenny McIntyre.
