<p><p>Joyce Dean Fulmer Cottrell, 90, of White Hall, died Friday, July 1, 2022.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was born October 19, 1931 in Vilonia, daughter of O.L. Fulmer and Vera C. Sellers Fulmer.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mrs. Cottrell was reared and received her early education in Vilonia, graduating from Vilonia High School.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After attending banking school, she began her career at Pine Bluff National Bank (now Relyance Bank) as a cashier before retiring in 1999 as the branch manager in White Hall.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was a member of First Baptist Church of White Hall, Redfield Order of the Eastern Star, White Hall Chamber of Commerce and a past board member of FBLA in the White Hall School District.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Along with her family, church and civic activities, Mrs. Cottrell enjoyed stamp collecting, cross-stitching, sewing, taking care of her house plants and match book collecting.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cottrell, whom she married July 11, 1949 in Benton; and three sisters, Arbell Harris, Agnes Rushing and Barbara Summers.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Survivors include her son, William Earl Cottrell; two daughters, Virginia Lee Corbett and Deborah Ann Wolf; sister, Marie Mayfield; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joyce Dean Fulmer Cottrell, 90, of White Hall, died Friday, July 1, 2022.

            She was born October 19, 1931 in Vilonia, daughter of O.L. Fulmer and Vera C. Sellers Fulmer.

            Mrs. Cottrell was reared and received her early education in Vilonia, graduating from Vilonia High School.

            After attending banking school, she began her career at Pine Bluff National Bank (now Relyance Bank) as a cashier before retiring in 1999 as the branch manager in White Hall.

            She was a member of First Baptist Church of White Hall, Redfield Order of the Eastern Star, White Hall Chamber of Commerce and a past board member of FBLA in the White Hall School District.

            Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Burris officiating.  Interment will follow in White Hall United Methodist Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Robinson and Fuller. 

            Pallbearers will be Thomas Conner, Leanne Slaughter, Frank Rushing, Brian Slaughter, Kyle Slaughter and Allen Rushing.
