At the age of 99, Mom passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Waterford January, 1923. Mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret O’Connor. Mom was the proud ‘Nannie Poirier’ to 3 generations of grandchildren who she dearly loved. She enjoyed family gatherings, live music, attending Senior Dances by ‘In the Mood’ and loved fiddle music. She was the last surviving member of her O’Connor family. She was pre-deceased by her husband Tass, her son Marshall, Great Granddaughter Barbara, siblings - Johnny, Peter, Aggie, Mary, Kay, Theresa and daughters-in-law Betty and Rosemary. She is survived by daughters Carolyn (Ernest) Boudreau, Michelle (Gary) Bates and son Daniel. Grandchildren Cecile, Darryl, David, Blair, Roselyn, Karen, Dougie, Rachelle, Corey and Cody. Great Grandchildren Baillie, Alex, Monique, Brittany, Ryan, Joselyn, Adam, Brady, Zachary, Riley, Connor and Tessa. Great Great Grandson Andreas and also Sheila, Ginny and Chickey. Visitation will take place at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home in New Waterford on Wednesday July 6 at 5-8 pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday July 7 at 10 am, Parish of Saint Leonard. Interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery. Following the mass a reception will be held at the K.O.C. Hall, Plummer Ave, NW.
