Graveside services for Martha “Mott” Sanford, 81, of Wisner, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA with Bro. Joel Parker officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mott was born June 14, 1941 in Rayville, LA and passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 in Wisner, LA.

Mott worked in the flower business most of her life, at Cottage’s in Winnsboro, LA, Mulhearn’s at all locations and opened a shop for Mulhearn in Ruston, LA. Also, she worked at Irma, Audie’s, and Brown-Holley Flowers in Rayville, LA. She enjoyed going fishing, her flower gardens and playing guitar.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Ressie Sanford; and her two sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include her host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Mary Anna Nursing Home, for all the love and care shown to Mott the past 8 years.
