John Edward Droulos, Jr.

John Edward Droulos JR, 68 from Lafayette. IN lost his battle with lung cancer on Sunday July 3, 2022 surrounded by his family. John was born on September 24, 1953 to John Edward Droulos Sr, and Barbara McCall Droulos. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Stephanie Theen from Florida and Jamie Waggoner (Josh) from California and his ex-wife Terri Droulos (Florida). He has 4 grandsons, Tanner and Parker Theen and Kaleb and Kolby Waggoner. John was the oldest of his 4 siblings. Randy Droulos (Charlotte) and two sisters Jan Robinson and Tina Letson. John was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in October 2019. After entering a short stent of treatments, John decided to stop all cancer regimes and do it his own way, which consist of sunshine and cold beer. John worked at Purdue University for 32 years eventually retiring in 2020. He enjoyed IU basketball, bowling, and traveling to see his grandkids and daughters. John wishes to spend eternity among the seas, so his ashes will be spread at the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean at a later date.
