Charmaine Barbour Comer, 82, of Danville, VA passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, while a resident of Stratford Health and Rehab, Danville, VA. She was born August 1, 1939, to the late Gladys Baker and the late Carson W. Barbour. She was married to the late Donald Comer. Mrs. Comer worked for Dan River Mills, Inc. in Data Processing prior to her retirement. She was a member of New Life Community Church. She is survived by three sons, Tony, Mark and Jay Comer (Brendi), and grandchildren Ashley Norris, Maegen Comer, and Jason Comer, as well four great-grandchildren, Drake, Ava, Arielle, and Nathaniel. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the West End Chapel of Norris Funeral Services, 511 Church Ave., Danville, officiated by Pastor Jim Reed.
