<div style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;"><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">Ruth Catherine Parker McCann, 95, of El Dorado, AR passed away Friday July 1, 2022 at Timberlane Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.</p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">She has gone to her Heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Where she will join many other family and friends who have gone on before.</p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">Ruth was born January 16, 1927 in Harrell, AR to the union of Berry A. Parker and Esther Pearl Karriker Parker.</p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lowell Franklin (Bud) McCann, four brothers, Claude Parker, O’Neal Parker, Fred Parker, and Ralph Parker, one sister, Geneva Parker Davis.</p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">Ruth was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was a seamstress that sewed for the public for many years, and she was also a homemaker.</p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">Survivors include her daughter, Beverly McCann Payne and husband Howard of El Dorado, son, Benjy McCann and wife Alma Joy of El Dorado, three grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.</p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the Bailey Funeral Home.</p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lyle Hern and Howard Payne officiating. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.</p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;"><br></p><p style="line-height:1.3;font-size:14pt;margin:0 0 10.7px 0;">In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to St. Jude or the John R.
