The passing of Philip David Whynott - 80 of Truro occurred July 2, 2022 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.

His family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Earth Angels, VON, Continuing Care, Marilyn, Irene, Linda, Denise and all health care workers who provided care and comfort for Phil in his final years.

Phil is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; sons, Dean (Bev) and Greg; granddaughters, Livia and Haley; sister, Tryphenia (Stephen) and family and sister-in-law, Mette; nieces, Phelegan and Khristine and nephews, Greg and Adam.

Phil was predeceased by parents, Eric and Matilda; sister, Joan; brother, Murray and first wife, Lucy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nova Scotia SPCA, Elderdog Canada or charity of your choice.

An informal Celebration of Life will be held at 16 Adam Street, Truro on July 9 from 2-4pm.

Cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place at a later date.
