The passing of Philip David Whynott - 80 of Truro occurred July 2, 2022 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. <br><br>His family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Earth Angels, VON, Continuing Care, Marilyn, Irene, Linda, Denise and all health care workers who provided care and comfort for Phil in his final years.<br><br>Phil is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; sons, Dean (Bev) and Greg; granddaughters, Livia and Haley; sister, Tryphenia (Stephen) and family and sister-in-law, Mette; nieces, Phelegan and Khristine and nephews, Greg and Adam.<br><br>Phil was predeceased by parents, Eric and Matilda; sister, Joan; brother, Murray and first wife, Lucy.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nova Scotia SPCA, Elderdog Canada or charity of your choice.<br><br>An informal Celebration of Life will be held at 16 Adam Street, Truro on July 9 from 2-4pm. <br><br>Cremation has taken place.
