Billy Don Adams, 63 of Baxter Springs, KS passed from this life suddenly on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, MO. Bill was born on February 11, 1959 in Mangum, OK to the union of Elvis and Shirley Adams. Bill owned and operated Tri-State Asphalt for more than 30 years. Bill enjoyed horse back riding, boating, and golfing. He especially enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his family and friends. Bill was united in marriage to Melissa Kelly (Larson) Adams on July 5, 2014 in Eureka Springs, AR. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include son, Cory Adams and wife Valerie of Belton, MO; daughter, Cami Garrett and husband Bobby of Webb City, MO; brother, Jimmy Adams and wife Sheila of Quapaw, OK; sisters, Teresa Freeze and husband Randy of Liberal, MO, and Debbie Arnall and husband Fred of Granby, MO; along with five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Burial will follow in the Baxter Springs Cemetery.
