Germaine Valentine Lefebvre

Germaine V. Lefebvre, 98, of South Burlington, Vermont passed away at the University of Vermont Medical Center on June 29, 2022. Germaine was born in Wottonville, Quebec to her parents Armand and Yvonne Lefebvre. She graduated from Winooski High School, and lived for a short time in Massachusetts. Upon moving back to Vermont several years later, she eventually found a job as an insurance agent with the Allen Agency, where she worked for 40 years. <br><br>Germaine enjoyed crocheting and sewing, and took art classes for oil painting. She would decorate her and her family’s homes with her projects. She was also a member of the South Burlington Senior Center. <br><br>Germaine is predeceased by her parents Armand and Yvonne, as well as her sisters Florette and Theresa and her brother Nelson. She is survived by her siblings Jeannine Lane, Alice (John) McKeown, and Normand (Jeanne) Lefebvre. <br><br>A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Vianney Church in South Burlington, Vermont on July 6th at 10:00, followed by a burial at Resurrection Park Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of LaVigne Funeral Home.
