Jeanette Gatlin Brown

Jeanette Brown, age 78 of Cleveland, departed this life on Wednesday morning, June 29, 2022 at Tennova Healthcare. Born in Polk County on September 9, 1943 to the late Arthur and Stella Gatlin, she was a longtime resident of Bradley County and a member of Prospect Church of God. She was a Godly woman that always asked for prayer at every church service for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. God was always first in her life, but her husband and family were her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy M. Brown, Jr; and her brothers, William, Carl, and Charles Gatlin. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Billy Mac Brown, Sr.; son, Marc A. Brown (Becky); daughters, Terri L. Erwin-Wilson(Mike), and Gail Martin( Michael Smith); grandchildren, Becky Brown, Billy Mac Brown III, Dustin Lankford, Jacob Martin, Joshua Martin, Dylan Brown, Jessica Smith(Adam), Mason Brown (Melea); nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Junie Walker, Linda Wooten, Glenda Seaborn, Brenda Carter(Layne), Ronnie Gatlin, A.L. Gatlin, Arthur Gatlin(Donna),and Ricky Gatlin(Sheila); as well as several extended family members and a host of friends and church family. A Celebration of Life and Home going for Jeanette Gatlin Brown will be held at 3PM Sunday, July 3, 2022 from the Prospect Church of God with Pastor Timothy Gann officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour at the church on Sunday.
