Anne Collins known to many as Queene Anne departed earth for her heavenly castle on June 19, 2022. Anne was born in the small town of Neguac, New Brunsweick, Canada.

Her last weeks were spent living comfortably at her daughter and son-in-law’s home, Lorin and Brenda McPherson, in Tigard where she passed. Her daughter Wendy also moved into the home to help care for her. We were extremely fortunate to have the most amazing Hospice team from Providence Hospice. Her hospice team was professional and compassionate. She had many family members visit her in her last weeks.

Whether you knew her as Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Auntie, Queene Anne, Antique Annie, or any other name, she touched many lives with her love, happiness and joy while living in the Rogue Valley for 60 years.

You may have known her when she baked delicious pies at Bumble Berry Pie shop on Jacksonville hwy or through her many adventures in the antique and collectables circle.

Anne had enormous capacity to love and accept all who came into her life. And many, many people did come into her life. She spent her life acquiring more and more family along the way. So many people consider her part of their family.

Anne was comfortable and loved all along her final journey. She never once complained except when she became to weak to get out of bed. She constantly said “I just want to walk !”

Her long legacy of love and compassion will live on in many, many people. She was truly loved. Please remember and honor her as you wish; plant a flower or a tree, make some peanut brittle or a pie, pick up a pretty rock, toast a glass of wine, donate to Providence Hospice in her memory or simply smile and say hello to someone walking by.

Her children from her first marriage survive – Wendy Glockling, Brenda McPherson, Bill Glockling, Marshall Glockling. There are many, many more that belong in the Queene Anne family We all feel her loss and will continue to keep her loving memory within our hearts.
