Steven R. Wilson passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 21, in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Steven was born in Watertown, NY on October 11, 1971, to Roy Wilson and Irene (Varakuta) Wilson. He attended high school at General Brown and graduated in 1990. After graduation, he moved to the Carolina's to continue his education while working part time. A few years later, Steven returned to the North Country and received a degree from SUNY Potsdam before relocating to Holly Springs. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene, in 2018. He is survived by his father, Roy Wilson, Mooresville, NC; his daughter, Kendall McDaniel, Harrisonburg, VA; a sister, Shelby (John) Morgia, Black River, NY; and a nephew, Bailey Wilkinson, Syracuse, NY . A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 10:30am at Thomas Funeral Home, 401 N. Ennis St., Fuquay-Varina, NC with a prayer service at 11:00am. All are welcome to attend.
