Kurtis John Bilyeau, 57, of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at his residence.

Born July 15, 1964, in Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of John Rufus and Jeanette Jo (Cojocar) Bilyeau.

Kurtis was a 1982 graduate of Waterford Township High School in Waterford, Michigan. He worked for Sacoma in Columbus as a laser operator-machinist automotive. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, golfing, drinking Coors Lite, flying remote helicopters and was a sports fan, especially the Detroit and Michigan teams.

Survivors include his son, Brandon James Perry of North Vernon, Indiana; daughters, Briana Marie (Brandon) Rasmussen and Madison Lei (Bryce Furnish) Bilyeau, both of Charlestown, Indiana; parents, John and Jeanette Bilyeau of Avon Park, Florida; special friend, Cynthia Moran of Grand Rapids, Michigan; sister, Kimberly (Matt) Schroeder-Floto of Michigan; and grandchildren, Sawyer and Finley Rasmussen, and Penelope Furnish, all of Charlestown, Indiana.

A celebration of life for Kurtis will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon, Indiana.

Memorials in honor of Kurtis may be made through the funeral home for expenses or to the American Heart Association.
