John Jacob Lazenby (Sean Cohens) born in Hartford, CT at St. Francis on September 13, 1967, to the late Neota Cohens and James (Spudgy) Arnold, unexpectedly passed on Saturday, May 21, 2022, in New London, CT where he resided.

He was predeceased by his loving grandparents who raised him Johnny & Laura (Big Mama) Cohens. During the 54 years of his life. He worked as a CNA at multiple healthcare facilities where his coworkers and patients adored him.

His life had many trials and tribulations, but he was a strong man that never gave up through those struggles and grew to be a man with a strong passion for life & showed that through helping many people who struggled like him.

He leaves behind his two devoted brothers, Vance Johnson and Anthony Cohens; three beautiful daughters, Shatoya of Bloomfield, CT, Kiana of New Britain, CT, and Shade
(Oodie) of Baltic, CT; two, amazing grandsons, Shaun and Khiryn; three lovely nieces, Quishonda, Aniejah and Lexis; his only nephew, Antoine; six great nieces and nephews, Maddie, Summer (Summy), Zuri, Future, Nia and Dream; his special and favorite aunt, Nellie. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was an amazing man who lived through his struggles but never gave up. His family will miss his smile, passion for helping others and his little bald head.
