Patsy Marie Bailey
Patsy Marie Bailey, 71, of Mauriceville, passed away on June 25, 2022, in the loving company of her husband and daughters. Patsy was born on January 23, 1951 in Beaumont, Texas to Rodney and Enola Guidry. She graduated from Vidor High School and has been a member of Saint Maurice Catholic Church for many years. Patsy was a fun woman who loved to laugh and was always having a great time. Patsy was also fierce and loyal. She was dedicated to the ones she loved and could always be found in the stands at a ball game. Patsy valued justice and fairness and was courageous enough to defend it. She was an animal lover with a big, tender heart. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Rodney and Enola Guidry. She is survived by her husband Gerald Bailey, and her sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Jerry Meulemans, her daughters and sons in law Laurie and Todd Sheppard, and Mandy and David Meza. Patsy has five grandchildren, Falon Sheppard, Shayna Sauers and spouse Ryan, Demi Devlin and spouse Jason, Chayce Dugas, Kenzie Hyden and spouse Ellis Hyden. Patsy was blessed with nine beautiful great grandchildren, Laurelai and Sheppard Wilhelm, Preslyn, Beckett, Saige, and Bryson Sauers, Faith Dugas, Lane and Josie Hyden, and a sweet little one on the way. There will be a visitation Monday, June 27th at 6 PM and a rosary at 7 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral mass will be held at Saint Maurice Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 28 at 10 AM, followed by a burial service at Restlawn Cemetery in Vidor, and a reception at Saint Maurice Church Hall.January 23, 1951 - June 25, 202201/23/195106/25/2022
