James B. Gross, age 84, of Janesville, WI passed away early Saturday, June 25, 2022. He was born on May 17, 1938; the son of Matthew and Frances (Theyerl) Gross in Fond du Lac, WI. Jim worked for forty years as a master machinist at Giddings & Lewis until his retirement in 2000. In retirement, he spent his time learning new skills. Many grandchildren received gifts he made in his woodworking shop.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Laura Hegge; and sons, James and Keith Gross. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grand children that were the joy of his life in his later years. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark.

There will be no public service. The family would appreciate privacy at this time.
