Tyler Franklin Rutherford Obituary

Tyler Franklin Rutherford gained his angel wings on August 31, 2017. Tyler was born on September 8, 1993 to Angie and Dana at the Guthrie County Hospital in Guthrie Center, Iowa. Tyler attended school in Guthrie Center graduating in 20l2. On May 11, 2008 he was baptized into God's care at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Guthrie Center.  Tyler never knew a stranger, he had a contagious winning personality, ornery grin and twinkle in his eye that all were automatically drawn to. He was passionate about family and friends and had a loving, generous heart. He had a love of animals and had several dogs growing up; he leaves behind Maggie that his brothers will take excellent care of her for him. Tyler loved hanging out with friends and family. He enjoyed playing his playstation games whether he was farming or playing fighting games. Tyler had a full range love of music - the louder the better. Tyler participated in high school sports and was football co-captain with Payden Willms, Marcus Bolton and Timmy Schachtner. As a young adult Tyler had several jobs learning skills along the way that fed his love of heavy equipment - digging and "playing" in the dirt.  Tyler is survived by his mother Angie (Curtis) Clark, father Dana Rutherford, brothers Dustin (Brianna) Rutherford, Wyatt (Melissa) Rutherford, sister Brandi Rutherford, many grandparents, aunts, uncles, family members, and numerous friends. They will all grieve his passing and miss this young man, but will remember and cherish their memories of him.
