Larry O'Neil Johnson

Larry O’Neil Johnson, 67, went home to be with the Lord, on June 22, 2022, in Orlando, FL. Larry was born in Corinth, MS, to Myrtle Johnson and grew up in Dayton, OH. Larry believed in serving his country and served a combination of 25 years in the US Air Force and US Navy. Larry valued God and family. He enjoyed creating lasting memories with his wife and grandchildren. An advocate for self-improvement, Larry enjoyed counseling, encouraging, and challenging others for the betterment of self. Larry was preceded in death by Aaron Warren (grandfather), Rosie Lean Warren (grandmother), Robert Warren (uncle), Jacqueline Sealy (sister), Cathy Johnson (sister) and Ernest U. Johnson (stepfather). Larry is survived by the love of his life, Juliet Johnson; Malik Jackson (son) along with Synia Chambers (granddaughter), Malik Jackson Jr (grandson), Savannah Jackson (granddaughter), Leitasi Jackson (granddaughter), Di Jai Jackson (grandson); Lawrence O.W. Johnson (son), Lauris Johnson (daughter-in-law) along with Leilani Johnson (granddaughter) and Liana Johnson (granddaughter); Theresa L. Jones (daughter), Brian Jones (son-in-law) along with Arianna Jones (granddaughter); Carolyn N. Johnson (daughter), Steven Ashley (son-in-law), along with Lucas Ashley (grandson); Myrtle Johnson (mother), Ernest U. Johnson Jr. (brother), Cheryl Johnson (sister-in-law), Rosemary Shyne (sister), Michael Shyne (brother-in-law); David Johnson (brother); nieces, nephews and other dear relatives.

A closed family viewing will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 10:00 am. Close friends are welcomed at 11:00 am, followed by Larry’s home-going celebration 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at Brewers & Sons Funeral Home, 1018 West Ave, Clermont, FL 34711. Repast will immediately follow at 2:30 pm at the Bella Collina Clubhouse. Directions to Bella Collina Clubhouse
