Bill, Pop, Willy
Wow! He has left an incredible legacy, has created four generations of family. He loved and touched many hearts along his journey. He was a husband, partner, father, grandfather to eight, and a great grandfather to seven. He was an uncle and friend.

His talents and accomplishments were numerous. Highest level certified welder, an entrepreneur, a designer, an engineer, a coach, and trainer. He was a manager/member of the Kingston Voyageurs Hockey Association, a crafter, an artist, an outdoorsman, a hunter, and an angler.

Bill could build and fix anything. He built entire buildings, bridges, pontoon boats, docks, decks and stairs. He built dune buggies, go-karts, and even family outdoor fun games.

Everyone has reaped the “Bill Benefits.”

Bill was Indigenous and born in Western Canada, he left at age 15 to work on the pipeline. At 17, he joined the Steelworker/Welders of North America, and by 18, he was supervising and had a crew. They called themselves the “Sky Cowboys.” Bill and his cowboy boots walked steel beams and welded for the next 40 years. He was a ‘workhorse’, and spare time was devoted to his family and friends. Coaching, transporting kids, and loved a good road trip to use his excellent navigational skills. He drove across Canada and the Cowboy States. He was also a history buff.

Most of all is he loved and cared for us all. His last words were “thank you for letting me share your life. I have had a great ride, love you all!”
