Nolan Stroud, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 10:30 AM until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. The services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hazel Baptist Cemetery in Lake, MS. Rev. Larry Duncan will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Nolan was born to Sammy Stroud and Renee Twiner on February 3, 1969, in Scott County, MS. He was a lifelong resident of Lake, MS. Nolan was a member of the Central MS. Trail Rider’s Association and served as Wagon Master for a number of years.
Nolan is preceded in death by his parents, Sammy and Renee Stroud; father-in-law, Paul Johnson and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Angela Stroud of Lake, MS.; daughter, Mackenzie Stroud of Lake, MS.; three sisters, Reshelle Usry (Karl) of Carthage, MS.; Delana Johnson (Mike) of Gastonia, NC.; and Melanie Fuller (Shawn) of Pueblo West, CO.; mother-in-law, Brenda Johnson; sister- in-law, Christy Belk (Kevin); brother-in-law, Michael Johnson (Shelby) and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Williams, Kevin Belk, Michael Johnson, Grant Stroud, Lane Williams, Terry Brown, Tanner Smith, John Tolbat and Gerald Havaed. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Johnson and Bryler Williams.
