Gertrude Siegfried, 103, of Hazleton passed away on Tuesday at Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Hazleton on January 30, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Clemens and Esther (Schwalm) Boyer. Gertrude was a kindhearted, loving woman. She enjoyed her life as a home maker where she raised her four beautiful children. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward, sister Bella Wetzel, grandsons Michael Malloy, Brian Malloy, great granddaughter Michele Malloy and great grandson Ryan Malloy and niece Judy Harriman. She is survived by her daughters Elaine Malloy of Hazleton and Nancy Minnich of Hazleton, sons Edward Siegfried of Wilkes Barre and David Siegfried and his wife Gloria of Hazle Township, niece Joyce Ray of Bloomsburg, seventeen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend a public Graveside Service that will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday from the Mount Laurel Memorial Park, Hazle Township. Rev. Dr. M. Jane Hess will preside over the service. Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home – Crematory is assisting the family
