Toribio González Garcia, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at his residence in McAllen.
Mr. González was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He lived a life of service to his family and anyone who was in need.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ismael González, and Dionicia Garcia; his daughter, Marianela González.
Mr. González is survived by his wife, Maria Aguirre De González; three children, Rosa Diana Garcia, Luis Eduardo (Bertha) González, and Maria Elena (Isaac) González; seven grandchildren; Brianna A. Salaiz, Alyssa M. González, Adrian Garcia, Jr., Isaias E. González, Isabella E. González, Gael Garcia, and Yahir Garcia; three siblings, Ignacio González, Angelita Garcia, and Irene González.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. rosary Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2022, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
