<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Shane Lee Craig passed away, June 23rd, 2022, at his home in Bryant, South Dakota, surrounded by his family.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Shane was born July 14th, 1975, to Shirley Craig in Broken Bow. Shane went to school in Broken Bow, Bartlett and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1995.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Shane enjoyed the outdoor life, it was very rare for him not to be outside whether it was fishing, hunting, working on his cars or just messing. Shane never knew a stranger; he talked to anyone and everyone and instantly became friends.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Shane married Stefanie Howell and to this union 5 children were born: Jamie, Nicholas, Ashley, Shayla, and Dylan. They later divorced. Shane later married Trina Wendling, to this union one child was born, Hudson Craig.&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Shortly after becoming sick, Blair Wendling would step in as his caregiver until his last day.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Left to remember Shane are his first wife, Stefanie Craig; children: Jamie, Nicolas (Jessica) of Omaha, Nebraska, Ashley (Tyler) of Broken Bow, Nebraska, Shayla (Thalia) of North Platte, Nebraska, and Dylan of North Platte, Nebraska; Second wife, Trina Craig, and their son, Hudson Craig of Bryant, South Dakota;&nbsp; mother, Shirley (Ed) of Oconto NE; father-in-law, Gene Howell of Ansley, Nebraska;&nbsp; in-laws, Gary (Lynn) Wendling of Bryant, South Dakota; brother, Chris (Missy) of&nbsp; Kansas;&nbsp; twin sister, Shanna (Steve) of Columbus, sister, Jennifer of Broken Bow; brother-in-laws: Adam, Tim (Theresa), Todd (Sasha), Cody (Katherine), Jeremy (Ruthie), Brady (Shannon), Seth (Mandi), Rodger (Heather) and Blair; sister-in-laws, Amber (Jeff) and Tori (Shawn); one grandson, Bowan; three step-grandchildren: Kenley, Thad, Jurnee ; Aunt Nancy of Hasting, Rita (Kim) of Texas, Uncle Bob of Ansley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in which Shane adored.&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Carol Howell; his grandmother, Mary and grandfather, Robert; uncle&rsquo;s, Chuck and Loren; and his aunt Tootie.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Cremation was chosen and burial will be in the Belgrade Cemetery with Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Shane Lee Craig passed away, June 23rd, 2022, at his home in Bryant, South Dakota, surrounded by his family.

Shane was born July 14th, 1975, to Shirley Craig in Broken Bow. Shane went to school in Broken Bow, Bartlett and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1995.

Shane enjoyed the outdoor life, it was very rare for him not to be outside whether it was fishing, hunting, working on his cars or just messing. Shane never knew a stranger; he talked to anyone and everyone and instantly became friends.

Shane married Stefanie Howell and to this union 5 children were born: Jamie, Nicholas, Ashley, Shayla, and Dylan. They later divorced. Shane later married Trina Wendling, to this union one child was born, Hudson Craig.
