Richmond Hill

 Marilyn died peacefully at Hospice House in Savannah, Georgia on June 23, 2022. Marilyn was born in Brooklyn, New York to John and Eleanor (Mafara) Marsini. She married Michael Bowen in 1961. Marilyn moved to Richmond Hill in 2001, and worked as a registered nurse at Candler Hospital until her retirement in 2009. She enjoyed traveling and going on Caribbean cruises with her family. She attended services regularly at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Richmond Hill. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. 

She is survived by four children: Virginia M. Tank, (58) of Belvidere, Illinois; Michael A. Bowen (56) of Springfield, Illinois; James A Bowen (54) of NSW Australia; Maureen E. Bowen Gallagher (51) of Richmond Hill, Georgia. Six grandchildren: Michelle and T.J. Tank; Sean Moore; Jonathan, Rachel, and Noelle Bowen and one great grandson: Archer Waters.

Services will be held at a later date.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Bowen family.
