Dawn Elizabeth (Giffin) Hissong 08/27/1961 – 06/21/2022 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our beloved Dawn Hissong. On Tuesday June 21st, 2022 at 12:02am we lost a truly remarkable person. Dawn loved her family and friends more than words could describe but what truly kept her going was her three boys Tim, Matt, and Tyler. The love she had for them was like nothing else in this world. Dawn loved her hallmark movies, absolutely hated crossing the mackinaw bridge (which definitely made the ride more interesting), she liked country music, and absolutely loved listening to the birds in the early morning hours while drinking her coffee. Dawn is survived by her three children Timothy Giffin, Matt (Samantha) Budziak, and Tyler Giffin. Sister and Brother Douglas (Sue) Giffin, and Diane Loomis. Grandchildren Kaci, Caiden, Isaac, Mackenzie, and Madison. Dawn has lots of nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband Clyde Hissong, her parents Clarence and Margaret (Mclean) Giffin, Sister Frances Winfree and two brother Dennis Giffin and Clarence (Don) Giffin Jr. There will be a celebration of life for Dawn on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Buresh Funeral Homes in Oscoda, Michigan. There will be a time of visiting from 2:00-3:00 PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM. Dawn will be greatly missed by many people and will never be forgotten.
