Wayne Alan Elliott, 57, was born in Winner, SD and grew up on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. He later moved to Sanborn, IA where he finished out elementary school and graduated from high school in 1983. Wayne joined the US ARMY right out of high school and served honorably for the next four years serving as a military intelligence specialist stationed in Texas and California. He attended college at Iowa State University where he loved to root on the Cyclones. For the past 12 years, Wayne has been a dedicated employee at Lumber Specialties in Story City, where he worked as a Truss Assembler. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Delmar & Wilma Elliott. He is survived by his two sisters Mitch Hunt (husband Dave Overman) of Orange City, IA; Jolynn McReynolds (husband Denny Snyder) of Webb City, MO; and brother Dean (wife Shawn) Elliott of Grand Island, NE.
