Eugene "Butch" A. Blaylock

<p>On Monday, June 20, 2022, Minneapolis resident Eugene &quot;Butch&quot; A. Blaylock passed<br /> away at the age of 55.<br /> Butch was born in Colorado on August 16, 1966, to Eugene and Mary Ellen (Cushing)<br /> Becker, the youngest of 7 children.<br /> Butch was adopted by his Stepfather, M.M. Blaylock when the family moved to Belton<br /> TX where he excelled in sports and academics<br /> graduating from Belton HS and attending Temple Jr. College.<br /> Butch moved to Minneapolis in 2010 &nbsp;and generally worked in office management.<br /> Butch earned his pilot&#39;s license and had many sports interests including biking, martial<br /> arts, sky diving, and football... Go Broncos! &nbsp;<br /> He also enjoyed gardening and theater acting. Butch was known as an advocate for<br /> those who are homeless or struggling with addiction.<br /> Butch is survived by his siblings Doug (Cheryl) Becker, Julie (AL) Sebestyen, Mark<br /> (Nancy) Blaylock, Laura (Joe) Hammond, Chris (Renee) Blaylock,<br /> and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends including Rick Anderson and their<br /> dog Chance.<br /> Butch was proceeded in death by his parents and stepfather and one brother, Timothy<br /> James Becker.<br /> Family requests any donations are made to an area Homeless Shelter or Recovery<br /> Center of your choosing.<br /> A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.</p>
