<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Walter Stefanski, 85 of West Chester, PA died Wednesday June 22, 2022 at the Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse in Philadelphia.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">He was the husband of the late Frances M. Burke Stefanski.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Born March 8, 1937 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Walter Stefanski Sr. and the late Emma Cooper Stefanski.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Walt grew up in West Chester and was a 1956 graduate of Henderson High School. He played golf and bowled every Tuesday with his longtime friends of over 60 years.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Walt was a long time parishioner of St. Agnes Church. He was the superintendent at St. Agnes Cemetery for over 40 years before his retirement.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">He is survived by his son, Stephen J. Stefanski and granddaughters, Kathleen, Abigail, and Emma.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Monday June 27, 2022 at 10 am at the St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester PA 19380</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Interment will be private.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Penn Medicine Hospice Development Office 3535 Market Street Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Arrangements by DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith &amp; Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. of West Chester, PA 610-696-1181; www.DellaFH.com.</span></p>
