Mrs. Betty Deavours, age 88 of Berry, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 1-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12-1 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Carlos and Mexie Kelly Nelson, husband: Cecil J. Deavours, son: Carl Mitchell Deavours, brothers: Richard Wayne Nelson, Carlos Nelson, and a sister: Ina Faye Smith.

Survivors include her daughter: Cecelia Deavours Campbell (Roy) of Berry, sister: Kelly Sue Westbrook of Berry, two grandchildren: Jessie Odell (Cooper), and Loretta Deavours, and three great-grandchildren: George Odell, Trinity Hutto, and Breanna Beams.
