Byron, GA – George Clifford Morris, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at his residence. Services celebrating his life will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with Reverend Buddy Jones officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior and immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Hope Lodge, 1552 Shoup Ct., Decatur, GA 30033.

George was born on July 19, 1960, in Vienna, GA to the late Joe C. Morris, Sr. and the late Christine (Worn) Morris. He was a 1978 graduate of Fullington Academy in Pinehurst, GA. George was the owner and operator of George Morris RV. He enjoyed bass fishing in his spare time, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Kathy (Griffin) Morris; daughter: Paula Vaden (Bryan); sons: Tony Morris (Dana) and Ethan Morris; stepdaughter: Chelsea Stewart (Dylan); grandchildren: Nautica, Xanth, Braya, Jade, Harlen, Harrison, Wade, Hunter, and Kinsley; sister: Debbie Elmore; brothers: Joe C. Morris, Jr. (Melissa) and Joe A. Granade (Saundra) and several nieces and nephews.
