Kenny Ray Kendall, 74, Marion, died on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at 10:00 pm. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 5, 1947, to the late Lawrence and Mabel (Royse) Kendall.
Kenny was a 1967 graduate of Mississinewa High School. He served his country in Vietnam from January 1967 to August 1969. Kenny was wounded in Vietnam and received the Purple Heart along with numerous other medals for his service. Kenny was employed as a truck driver for Central States Trucking and also at Owens-Illinois.
Kenny is survived by his four children, Bobbi Barnett-Frasz of Fishers, Kristi (Brian) Moore of Gas City, Kelli (Rich) May of Gas City, Kregg Kendall of Gas City; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Dottie (Ned) Dugdale of Greentown; and sister-in-law, Shauna Kendall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence V. and Mabel Kendall; brothers, David Kendall and Ronald Kendall; and sister-in-law, Lottie Kendall.
The family will receive visitors from 12 noon to 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Kenny's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
