Fred Stevens Obituary

Fred William Stevens, 73, of Goffstown, NH passed away on May 30, 2022 with family by his side at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA after a very courageous battle with his health. He is the son of Shirley Burton and Eva Mae (Mills) Stevens and was born at home on January 30, 1949 in Bloomfield, VT. He was brought up and attended schools in North Stratford, NH . Due to the lower population in the area then a classroom sometimes held three or four grades. Fred often said, " I was the smartest, the cutest and funniest in my grade because I was the only one in my grade"! He relocated and began his career in construction, carpentry and also.as a handyman. He was able to fix anything! He was always ready to tell a joke or lend a hand to anyone in need. He leaves his wife, Diane ( Duclos) Stevens of Goffstown, his "Favorite" daughter, Bonnie Stevens Kinnal and her husband Doug, and the light of his life, his grandson, Bryce Kinnal all of Dracut, MA. He also leaves a sister, Sandra Stevens Sheltry, a brother, Burton Stevens and his dog Lily, who he loved very much and enjoyed taking for walks. Fred was predeceased by his sister, Janice Stevens and his son, Michael Stevens. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday June 22 from 5pm to 9pm at the Puritan Conference Center, 245 Hooksett Road Manchester, NH 03104. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
