Elizabeth Q. Landers died on Jun 20, 2022 at the Stockton Nursing Home. Elizabeth was born January 3, 1936, in Holcomb MO to Olin and Culley Carpenter. She is preceded in death by her parents and George her husband.

She is survived by her 3 children, Tom and wife Becky of Cane Hill, Sarah and husband Rick of El Dorado Springs and Camille and husband Rick of South Greenfield. She had 7 grandchildren Jason Cunningham and wife Leslie, Brandon Landers and husband Brennan, Kirby Coale and wife Brittany, Cory Coale and wife Courtney, Morgan and husband Marty Tice, Jasmine and husband Jason Dellaert, Coleman and wife Sarah Whitaker. Elizabeth has 10 great-grandchildren, Dalton Cunningham, Rhett and Waylon Tice, Graham, Lincoln, and Ada Dellaert, Hattie and Ellis Coale and Eleanor Coale and Wyatt Whitaker.
Elizabeth loved to cook, bake desserts and bread. She instilled her love of cooking on her daughters and granddaughters. She also loved to sew and quilt. Many dresses were made for her granddaughters when they were little. Our family has many of her hand appliqued and hand quilted quilts. Jasmine has taken over the quilt making and Elizabeth was so happy to see this happen.
She graduated from St. John’s School of Nursing in 1957 with her RN. She worked as a Pediatric Nurse and later the school nurse for Stockton School district. After she retired from nursing, she and George would go to the sale barn and every summer they would travel to Santa Fe, New Mexico for the Santa Fe Opera. They were big fans of opera and bluegrass music. She also was an avid reader and encouraged all her children and grandchildren to read. A book was always nearby! Elizabeth was a member of the Flint Hill Church of Christ and later the Stockton Church of Christ.

Visitation will be on Jun 30, 2022 at the Bland-Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton, MO from 9:00-10:00 and a memorial service to follow. To sign the online guestbook go to brumbackfuneralhome.com.
